What Should I Wear?

We are a "Come as you are" type of church. You don't have to dress up to show up at The Crossing, however, if you want to, that is just fine. On any given Sunday, you will see people wearing jeans, shorts, flip-flops, suits, designer clothes, and hand-me-downs.

When Should I Arrive?

This depends on a couple of things.

If you have children, show up a few minutes early to check them in and make sure you are comfortable

with where they are.

Also, if you are a coffee lover, come a little early to grab a cup of liquid love and make yourself at home.

Download Church Center

Go to any app store and download the "Church Center" app. Once downloaded open up the app.

Select Our Church Campus

When searching for your church, type in "The Crossing at Union Cross." You will see our logo and name pop up. Make sure to select Union Cross Campus and not North Main Campus to be connected with our church.

Create Your Profile

Have a church center profile? Then enter your phone number. If not you can create one.

Start Connecting

At this point you can start connecting with the church through life groups, events, or joining a serve team. You will also see different tools like "The Hub" and the "Tool Kit."

We are not perfect, nor do we pretend to be. We strongly believe that true community is only available when you actually know each other.

We are laser-focused on spreading God's love to everyone around us. We want to do so in a way that brings glory and honor to Him.

Josh

Tufte

Lead Pastor - UC Campus

Josh became the Lead Pastor of The Crossing in March of 2020. He has been involved in church since he became a Christian at the age of 13.  Josh got involved at First Christian when he became a member over 20 years ago. He worked as a children's minister for nearly four years in High Point before leaving full time ministry to start his own business and pursue a career in boxing. Now Josh enjoys leading The Crossing-Union Cross staff as they work together to Win, Train, and Send.

Kristy

Sapp

Director of Family Ministry - UC Campus

Kristy has been with us at The Crossing-Union Cross campus since early 2019. As the Director of Family ministry, she oversees the ministry that happens from ages 0 to 21 years old. There are smooth transitions, strong teams, organized training, and unified teaching across the age groups with her oversight. Kristy has a passion for ministering to families and loves playing with children. She has a gift for building teams and putting children at ease.

Rachel

Hickling

Worship Pastor - Both Campuses

Rachel has been the Worship Pastor at The Crossing-Union Cross  since it's days inside Caleb's Creek Elementary. Rachel trained and went to college at Liberty University where she participated in several bands and choirs that traveled the US and did worship services and concerts. Rachel now enjoys leading worship at our church along with a choir while helping to further our technology and online presence.
